Wanza Furnishings Industry has been established in the early 1950s in Addis Ababa as Joint Venture of an Armenian company (owned by Mr. Vaskin Sician,) and a Norwegian company (owned by Mr. Mozvold). Following the outbreak of Ethiopian Revolution, the company was nationalized by the Provisional Military Government of Ethiopia (Dergue), in 1968 E.C After the downfall of the Dergue regime, most state owned manufacturing companies including our company has been privatized and thereby Wanza Wood working Factory, together with Hawassa Wood Processing Branch and a saw mill in Jimma, was acquired by Star Technical Trading PLC, a member of MIDROC Investment Group, on S
