Daylight Applied Technologies PLC Established on August 23, 1994 G.C Daylight Applied Technologies PLC is located in Lemi Kura Sub-City, Woreda 14, Addis Ababa. Primarily it was established in 1994 G.C as Daylight Engineering PLC to produce incandescent and fluorescent bulbs and glass tubes by initial capital 35 million birr. However, since 2005, the production of incandescent and fluorescent bulbs and glass tubes has stopped due to market problem.

The company was then recognized in 2004 G.C with the current name Daylight Applied Technologies P.L.C, joining in the MIDROC Technology Group Companies to produce a food packaging of Glass bottle, Crown Cork and
