Kombolcha steel products industry Plc (KOSPI) Kombolcha Steel Products Industry PLC (KOSPI) is a member of the MIDROC Investment Group, engaged in manufacturing and supply of different types of steel products for the construction sector and other applications. KOSPI was established in February 2000, with a total initial investment capital of Birr 76 million.

KOSPI owns two plants; the first one located at Kombolcha, Amara Region and the second one being established in Gelan, Oromia Region. KOSPI’s first plant was set up on a 60,000 m 2 plot of land at Kombolcha. In this Plant, the Company later introduced various wire products such as nails, wood screws, binding wires, chain-link, barbed wir
