Dashen Cement PLC

The plant is situated in Dejen town, East Gojam, Amhara Regional State and is located 230 km from Addis Ababa. The company is one of the leading cement suppliers in the Amhara region and has an annual production capacity of 200,000 metric tons of cement. The production process involves using VSK (Vertical Shaft Kiln) technology. In August 2008, the Derba MIDROC Company opened this small cement factory on the outskirts of the town, producing 4,000 quintals of cement per day.
